Working at Heights

Falls from height have been the biggest cause of fatalities in the workplace nationally over the last few years.
This course is designed to ensure that trainees are aware of both their employers and their own responsibilities in relation to working at height legislation. Participants will receive training on responsibilities in relation to planning working at height tasks, the hierarchy of controls, Importance of rescue plans and risk assessments, demarcation and establishment of work zones, equipment types and suitability for specific tasks, inspections and recording of WAH equipment,

Course content covered includes legislation, Ladders, MEWPS, Scaffolding, Mobile Access Towers, Safety Harnesses/ Fall arrest & Fall restraint equipment, Roofwork, Fragile roofs & edge protection, Inspections and record keeping requirements on working at height equipment.
Course can be delivered on-site or at client’s yard/ offices. Discount for large group bookings.
Trainer is a QQI qualified Instructor, Multi Certified Working at Heights & PPE Inspector and an experienced trainer from a construction background.
